Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has made a lasting impression on the screen. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time prior to moving to Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of character roles including local independent films and commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza quickly realized her passion for performing. She relocated in New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived series The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in her role in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza received several nominations for this character for her role, including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on a drama television show. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko, as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. It was pulled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has an Italian father as well as one sister Cory whom is 10 years older than her. Her family was an environment that was strict and deeply religious. Milano began her career at seven when her babysitter accompanied her to an acting audition. The four selected girls among over a thousand applicants included Milano. Milano appeared in advertisements on television and off-Broadway as well, such as the American musical version that portrayed Jane Eyre.
